Chief Executive Officer

Ben has nearly a decade of executive leadership experience and a diverse background that positions him to lead IACP into the future. He has been an executive director of a small provider, a regional director of a large provider, and has most recently been a part of the Iowa HHS leadership team as deputy superintendent of the Cherokee Mental Health Institute. He has a good understanding of the system of care in Iowa. Ben holds a master’s degree in business administration from Missouri State University and a bachelor's degree in public administration from Buena Vista University. Ben resides in Ames with his wife and four children and you can find them frequently enjoying the outdoors!
