10:45                United Heartland’s Claim Causation Analysis System

Causation is an investigative process that examines a work methodology and relates risk factors to reported injuries.  The goal of a causation analysis is to determine the facts surrounding an injury or illness and provide that information to credible medical resources.  The causation investigation and analysis process does not determine compensability but is a practical approach to provide objective and factual information to medical reviewers who analyze claims to determine compensability. The causation investigation program includes a wide variety of investigations including ergonomic, environmental disease, subrogation, traumatic and complex injuries and return to work.
