About Presenter: LeAnn Moskowitz, MPA, is the LTSS Policy Specialist for the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise, Iowa Department of Human Services. LeAnn graduated with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration from Iowa State University. She received her MPS in Health Care Administration from Drake University. LeAnn was hired by DHS, IME, Bureau of Long-Term Care in January 2009. She assumed management of the Brain Injury waiver in March 2009 and development of community-based neurobehavioral rehabilitation services in 2010.

Her current responsibilities include managing brain injury, behavioral health, employment, and transportation services for Medicaid. LeAnn has over 25 years of management experience overseeing facility and community-based residential and vocational services for not-for-profit organizations serving people with disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other special needs.

Description: The IACP Technical Assistance Team is happy to announce LeAnn Moskowitz, LTSS Policy Specialist, will be joining them to present on Medicaid Waste, Fraud and Abuse Prevention. This webinar will take a deep dive into what constitutes waste, fraud, and abuse so participants will understand how this applies to their service delivery settings. Another area of focus will be on how organizations can develop and implement effective prevention strategies.
