Benefits of Membership in IACP

Legislative Presence – IACP is recognized as the primary community-based provider association in Iowa. By being a member, you and your agency acquire the credibility and reputation of the Association.

Training Opportunities – Experience sessions that will prepare you to succeed in today’s competitive human services environment when you attend the IACP Annual Convention. You’ll have the opportunity to build upon your skills, cultivate relationships with your peers, and hear nationally recognized speakers. CEUs are awarded to social workers and licensed mental health workers only.

Regulatory Information – You’ll have your fingertips on the most recent regulatory changes and information on how new rules and regulations affect the operation of your agency. Keep up with cutting-edge techniques and strategies for providing services to Iowans with disabilities. The Association maintains a full set of the Iowa Administrative Code and the Code of Iowa.

Publications and Communications – The Weekly Bulletin gives you and your staff a “snapshot” of the important information each week. The Association’s website gives members immediate access to public policy materials and industry news, as well as an opportunity to network with your peers on-line.

Participation – Share your good ideas with peers by participating in Advisory Committees, standing committees, or at membership forums. IACP members influence the direction of the Association and your participation is key to continuing to move IACP forward.

Employee Benefit Programs - IACP sponsors a group health insurance program and an array of employee benefit programs.

Endorsed Vendor Services – Looking for a product or service to help ease the work for your organization and/or your employees? IACP members receive special discounts when they take advantage of the products/services available from well established, endorsed vendors. For example, your agency will have access to the Association’s official supplier of office products – Storey Kenworthy.

Networking – Meet professionals from the human services field who can assist you with issues so that your agency may operate more efficiently and effectively. Network with the experts who can help your agency move ahead.

National Representation – IACP is affiliated with the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) and the National Council of Community Behavioral Healthcare (NCCBH). These two distinguished organizations are at the forefront shaping critical national policy issues.

IACP Trade Show - Not only do you get a $200 discount for an exhibitor's booth...You get to meet and interact with IACP members, potential IACP members and others important to your business at the IACP Trade Show planned in conjunction with the annual convention in the summer.
